No mate A Band Called O headlined a few times and they did support Nektar once so close ;-)

Re: RIP Jaki Liebezeit
I seem to remember them playing there supported by A Band Called 'O' as well, but it's possible my teenage noggin was confused by my beer and a LOT of other people's dope.

Darby_: "This video contains content from Merlin [PIAS], who has blocked it in your country."

My country is England (unless some of the locals have convinced Merlin that Yorkshire has broken away).

The reason I chose to call okra okra when they were a relative novelty.

Instead of "ladies' fingers" - in what kind of Monster Movie do ladies have fingers like that, anyway?

And me mate. To be honest, I enjoyed the Welsh lads more. Al Mathews supporting?

Re: RIP Jaki Liebezeit
Really sorry to hear his one. One of my favourite bands, and one of the all time great/most influential drummers. RIP Jaki. And thanks for being the soundtrack a hundred colourful evenings.

Re: RIP Jaki Liebezeit
A proper great band and a huge influence on so many bands and scenes through the 70's, 80's and through to now.

Initially hard to listen to although once you get it... You get it for good.

Lauren Laverne on BBC6 played a few of their tunes earlier, still sound very fresh.

RIP

Can, the second best band with a three letter name ending in '-an'.
